We sent our dog, Baxter, to a one-week training with Carrie, and we couldn’t recommend her and the crew at North River Pack enough. Before training, Baxter had zero recall, was always trying to be the boss around our house and had very bad table manners. After training, it truly felt like we had a different dog. We can now take Baxter out for unleashed hikes in the woods, we can eat dinner in peace, and Baxter truly lives a more comfortable life at home not having to be the boss of the house every day. Baxter now goes to doggy day camp at North River Pack and Carrie continues to work on training with him and camp allows him to get his energy out and get socialized with other dogs. Hunting dogs have always been a part of our family, and over the past six months, we have worked with Carrie, of North River Pack on shed hunting and bird retrieving skills. She has mastered the perfect balance between love and discipline with her dog training. Her love for her work combined with her ability to establish a trusting relationship with dogs makes her a favorite human for our fur babies.

My husband Troy West signed my Black Lab, Stella, up for classes with North River Pack a few months ago. I was lucky enough to adopt a rescue 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog. Mazel is a joy, but was never properly socialized, never taught a thing. North River Pack family was so helpful. They taught me to help her. We worked patently on Mazel's socialization, gaining confidence along the way and coming out if her shy shell. We worked on basic command and walking on a lease without dragging Momma around LOL! These ladies patiently helped Mazel and I learn together. It was a wonderful, successful experience.

I love bringing my dog Luna to North River Pack. She gets so excited when she’s dropped off and she hates to leave at the end of the day. The last place I brought Luna, didn’t make her want to stay and they never payed attention to the dogs. Making me feel uneasy when I brought her. But at North River Pack it’s different, I feel very confident and comfortable my dog is in good hands whenever she goes. She gets the attention and exercise she needs and gets to play with her dog friends all day long. They really care about the dogs and the work they do at North River Pack!
Carrie was so good to work with and did such a great job training my dog on recall. After meeting and speaking with her, I never felt worried about leaving my pup in her care. She always gave updates and sent videos/pictures on a regular basis. Her knowledge and personality allowed me to feel so comfortable with my decision, which is huge, being an overprotective doggy mom. He's not perfect but with her training, I feel more at ease. Looking forward to bringing my pup to her day camp.

We brought our 3 year old Boston Terrier, Lulu to Carrie. She knew some basic commands but had some bad habits. Lulu loved going there! Carrie is very enthusiastic and helpful and helped train Lulu and us too!
